After reading the TIME article I posted earlier, I realized that I'm fortunate to be able to speak Chinese. Being my parents immigrated from China, I feel I have a major advantage over my peers. I've also been learning Japanese for the past two years, which I think will surely help me in the future. Parents should encourage their children to pick up another language besides English. In this age where the more you learn, the more you earn, being bilingual surely will reap in many benefits.

So whether it's Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, or anything other than English, my advice is to go after another language and absorb everything you can because now that we're living in a Global Economy, being able to speak another language besides english will help you immensely.
